How to look after yourself

Understanding personal wellbeing, managing stress and adapting routines for healthier action during productions. This will build to a toolkit of practical exercises, an opportunity to discuss issues relating to mental health and support options, in order to build resilience.

How to manage expectations from your team

The workshop will provide a toolkit of resources to aid with managing expectations, both from within the team as well as dealing upwards and sideways effectively. Course attendees will engage in exercises based around real-life scenarios with pragmatic feedback and best practice advice.

Ensuring a good work life balance

Effective techniques towards building a workplace environment conducive to good working practices. An opportunity to adapt working protocols that benefit you and others. Looking at support networks and wider entities that can be useful.

Encouraging good working practice in your teams

Focus on the key elements of successful teams and what 'good' within the context of production means. Looking at best practices around clarity, expectation, and ways of working in order to ensure greater resilience. Greater personal resilience results in better team resilience, and in turn, results in better organisational resilience, meaning less chance of conflict and greater success
