I hope you are all winding down for Christmas and looking forward to some quality time with friends and loved ones. It’s been a good year for the branch. We have united the membership and built some bridges to our friends in the regions.
It’s been an amazingly busy year for the assessors with more applicants than ever. It’s great to see the qualification is at least as important as when it was first brought in. I like to thank the assessors for all their hard work. I also like to thank the committee for all their efforts and the time they give up. I’d really like to thank you the members all for your support and involvement and especially for supporting the benevolent fund.
On the 19th of February we will hold our AGM and give a full report on the fund and other union matters.
Although work has slowed in the last quarter of 2022, it’s looking like 2023 is going to be another bumper year with many projects coming up.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and the calls come in just as the decorations come down.
Merry Christmas everyone and a happy and prosperous New Year.
